Brahmapur or Berhampur as it is called is a city on the eastern coastline of Odisha. Brahmapur “The Silk City” and Business capital of Odisha is famous for the lustrous ikkat silk sarees & Silk Patta Sarees in different colours and patterns.

People here are nowhere behind the line when it comes to theatre, as drama and theatre is a common way to entertain and educate. The city is known for its love for the theatre and cinema, Ganjam Kala Parishad and Prakasam Hall are one of the oldest “Rangmanch” theatres in the country. The Sri Sitaram Vials Talkies (S.S.V.T) is the oldest movie theatre of Odisha which was established in 1927. The dialect and culture of Brahmapur has a distinct South Indian touch divinely mixed with the Odia Culture.

Brahmapur has emerged as one of the most important Education hubs for the states with many pioneer Engineering, Medical, Pharma and Nursing colleges. The effective literacy rate of the City is more than 92%, higher than the national average of 74.04%.

Indrani has over 17years vast experience in the Fashion, Garment, Textile Industry, as a retailer, manufacturer, consultant, and Merchandiser.

Currently, she is successfully running an Apparel Production Company “Taksnoti Apparels”, prior to this She was heading the production merchandising for one of the most celebrated global brands “Bhaane” owned by Mr. Anand Ahuja. She has worked with many market leaders from the industry like Arvind Mills, Indus league and many more.

She is also associated with TATA foundation helping a self-help group “SRUJANIKA” in rural Odisha providing employment opportunities and working on their Skill enhancement. Mrs. Indrani is also an independent advisor to Scionesta Brand Elements Pvt. Ltd. (An Apparel Manufacturer and a Buying House based in Bangalore). Indrani had started India’s first online Bespoke platform “EkaaStudio” exclusively for Indian women way back in 2016.
