Eligibility Criteria
Students who have completed their Class 12 in any subject (like Science/Commerce/Arts) are eligible for a Fashion Design course at the graduate level. Aspirants who have completed a Design degree at graduation level are preferred for postgraduate admission into Fashion Designing. These eligibility criteria tend to be the same across most colleges.
UG Courses
The class 12th examination must be passed with at least 50 percent from a
recognized Indian board for admission to Fashion Designing courses at the undergraduate level.
PG Courses
To be eligible for PG Fashion Designing courses in India, students must have successfully completed a bachelor’s degree with not less than 50 per cent from a recognised college or university.
Diploma Courses
The 10+2 level must be completed from a recognized board in India with not less than 40-50 percent in order to apply to diploma courses.
